Rotherham-based MTL Advanced has signed the Armed Forces Covenant — a commitment to armed-forces personnel by offering employment and other support, while celebrating the invaluable contribution they can make to a business.
The company (
www.mtladv.com), which provides steel engineering services including laser cutting, water-jet cutting and CNC machining, has a long-standing relationship with members of the armed forces, with a number of employees who have served in the past or are currently reservists.
Its head of sales, Michael Ellmore, said: “As a veteran myself with long service in the armed forces, it brings me im-mense pride that we are committed to our armed-forces personnel and showing our support to the military community.”
MTL Advanced has a history of working for the defence industry through the manufacture of armoured-vehicle hulls and cabins.
