Cheshire-based Oliver Valves has secured a £2 million order to supply more than 400 valves for sub-sea applications in Norway.
Deliveries will start in June and continue through to August.
Managing director Colm Kane (
www.valves.co.uk) said: “Our order book continues to grow at a fast rate, as confidence in the oil and gas market returns, and winning this order has further justified our ambitious plans to increase our capacity.
"The investment includes the now completed £1 million revamp of our R&D facilities in Knutsford, the purchase of a new 20,000ft
2 factory that will be ready around September, new test equipment, and a continual recruitment programme.”
Mr Kane added that the customer in Norway was impressed by Oliver’s price-competitiveness and high-tech product.
