Derbyshire-based Carfulan Group (
www.carfulan.com), which consists of OGP UK, SYS Systems, Zoller UK and Vicivision UK, will be highlighting its expertise in multi-sensor metrology, 3-D printing, tool
pre-setting and turned-part measurement at
Southern Manufacturing 2020 (Stand M220).
OGP UK supplies multi-sensor metrology systems that can gauge the characteristics of complex components in real time and without human error, leading to better quality and reduced scrap.
It will also be displaying the CNC200 at the show — a machine capable of supporting a combination of touch probes, micro-probes and laser scanners, ‘maintaining the highest levels of accuracy while working even in the most hostile production environments’.
As a UK Stratasys platinum partner, SYS Systems has been at the forefront of the 3-D printing movement for more than a decade, supplying, installing and supporting the full Stratasys product range.
It will be highlighting the F370, an office-friendly industrial-grade printer that works with a range of superior materials and colours to produce complex parts with precision.
Meanwhile, Zoller UK — a specialist in off-line tool pre-setting, inspection and management solutions, is helping businesses to reduce down-time, increase operational capacity, improve tool life and eliminate scrap.
Its Smile system (with Pilot 1 software) has telecentric optics for enhanced performance, alongside seamless data transfer options for pre-setting and measuring cutting tools before machining components.
Vicivision UK will demonstrate its M309, a high-performance optical and non-contact measuring machine for cylindrical parts such as shafts, valves, screws and threaded inserts.
Part of the Techno range, it makes immediate inspection available next to multiple machining centres and to more than one operator, eliminating bottlenecks and leading to a reduction in idle time, as there is no need to leave the production environment.
