Staffordshire-based HSM (UK) Ltd (uk.hsm.eu), a manufacturer of vertical and horizontal baling presses and cardboard perforating systems, will be exhibiting at this year’s
Southern Manufacturing 2020 (Stand A245).
Taking centre stage will be its ProfiPack P425 packaging machine, which offers an innovative solution for shipping and storage requirements by perforating cardboard waste, transforming it into a free biodegradable packaging
material (this eliminates the need for single-use plastic packaging, such as bubble wrap).
Also on display will be the V-Press 610, which improves internal waste management systems by reducing the volume of cardboard or foil by up to 95% (by compressing them into dense bales).
This machine benefits from rapid-motion technology, which reduces cycle times by up to 40%.
The goal of HSM is to help businesses in retail, warehousing, transport and distribution to improve their waste management systems by adopting more sustainable and environment-friendly practices.
