Leicestershire-based Matsuura Machinery Ltd will be exhibiting its MX-520 five-axis CNC machine and HP Jet Fusion 580 3-D colour printer at
Southern Manufacturing 2020 (Stand E260) (

The company will be machining live on the MX-520, using fixtures and work-holding printed on an HP Multi-Jet Fusion 4200 3-D printer to demonstrate the time and cost savings that can be made by 3-D printing work-holding in hours — rather than waiting weeks or even months for conventional metal solutions to be supplied.
The MX-520 is Matsuura’s best-selling single-table five-axis CNC machining centre, aimed primarily at companies making the transition from three- to five-axis operations, although many SME customers using the multi-pallet MAM72 series of five-axis machines are also significant investors.
Visitors will also see live 3-D colour printing on the HP Jet Fusion 580 and will be able to discuss the capabilities of this printer with the Matsuura team.
