
Shropshire-based Grainger & Worrall (G&W —
www.gwcast.com), an automotive castings specialist, received the Export Achievement Award at this year’s MIA (Motorsport Industry Association) Business Excellence Awards in recognition of its sustained business growth and expanding global operations, including the opening of a US company, GW Inc.
Company director Matthew Grainger said: “We are delighted to receive this coveted award, especially given the strength of nominees and the household names involved.

Grainger & Worrall supplies castings to leading motor-sport teams world-wide in a variety of disciplines, including Formula One. As part of its UK expansion, the company invested in a third CT scanner, which increased its throughput capacity by 50%. The company employs over 700 people, and turnover has surpassed £60 million.
