Wiltshire-based Wadworth, an independent family brewer and pub operator, has been supplied with three keg clamp attachments by Cramlington-based B&B Attachments, which designs and manufactures bespoke fork-lift truck attachments (

Established in 1875, the brewery in Devizes still uses shire horses to deliver cask ale to local pubs.
Due to continued investment in its kegging capability, it asked B&B Attachments to provide an efficient and effective method for moving both full and empty kegs and casks around its yard and production facility.
The fork-lift truck attachments allow up to 18 kegs to be handled in a single lift, and they give the driver excellent visibility when approaching and moving the load.
Features include low-profile stabilisers, wear indicators on the tines, and end-of-stroke cushioning on side-shift movement.
David Hiscocks, transport planning manager at the brewery, said: “Due to the large number of kegs we handle daily, we need to ensure that we are handling our product in the safest and most efficient way possible.
“The keg clamp attachments supplied by B&B have already made a big improvement to our on-site productivity.”
