Coalisland-based DMAC Engineering Ltd has announced that it intends to create 80 new jobs over the next three years.
The firm — one of Northern Ireland’s leading fabrication and steel-forming engineering businesses — unveiled its £2 million investment plans at an event attended by Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster.
Operations manager Daniel McCusker said: “In the past two years, we have invested £2 million in cutting-edge laser machines and IT systems to ensure that we remain competitive in this industry. During that time, we’ve increased our workforce from 45 to 70 employees, providing employment to an area that’s continuing to feel the brunt of the economic downturn. This additional investment is privately funded and represents the next phase of our expansion plans.
As we continue to win large contracts across Europe and prepare for the launch of our own innovative environmental products, it is crucial that we have the facilities to deliver these projects.”
