The Swiss plastics and metals welding specialist Telsonic (
www.telsonic.com) has announced the addition of the vibration friction welding process from Korean company Daeyoung to its European portfolio of plastic bonding technologies.
The successful business relationship already enjoyed by the two companies in the North American market (the USA, Canada and Mexico) now extends to Europe, Russia and North Africa. In support of this latest development, the Telsonic GmbH centre of excellence in Germany has been expanded to provide support and technical services ranging from design to tool manufacturing.
This new distribution agreement further consolidates Telsonic’s position as the automotive industry’s global partner for bonding technology. Axel Vietze, CEO and chairman of the Telsonic Group, said: “We look forward to adding Daeyoung’s vibration welding systems to our portfolio as of the fourth quarter of 2020, to further developing the Daeyoung brand in Europe, and also to consolidating the synergies from our long-standing partnership in America.”
Daesik Cho, chairman and founder of Daeyoung Ultrasonic Co Ltd, said: “In Telsonic, we have found the ideal sales partner for the important European market. The company has a great team, with plenty of experience and a high level of expertise.”
