Pomini Tenova, a leading manufacturer of roll grinders, recently completed the installation of three machines for Hoa Phat Group — one of the largest manufacturers of construction steels, coated steels and steel pipes in Vietnam (this takes the number of machines supplied and commissioned in the country to 18).
These three machines, installed at Hoa Phat’s new hot-rolling mill in Quảng Ngãi Province, complement two roll grinders for the company’s cold-rolling mill in Lạc Đạo (in Hưng Yên Province).
Ermanno Croci, Pomini Tenova area sales manager, said: “The choice of our technology for Hoa Phat’s new site confirms the good quality of the relationship that we have been able to establish with the Hoa Phat Group over the years.
“We are particularly satisfied with this project, as we completed it successfully despite encountering several challenges in its latest phase, due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 emergency.”

“Besides the five machines in HoaPhat, Pomini Tenova has also — in recent years — installed a number of other machines in Vietnamese steel companies, including a roll grinder in Pomina, two in Hoa Sen, four in Posco and six in China Steel Sumikin.”
