Utilising modular robotics alongside laser technology

Utilising modular robotics alongside laser technology County Durham-based Trotec Laser has teamed up with Inovo Robotics for the next instalment of its ‘Hot Topics’ webinar series on 24 June. Laser technology can bring a much-needed production boost to companies, with fast processing speeds and large working areas.

However, skilled staff are often under-used in smaller businesses, with time spent on repetitive and monotonous tasks such as loading and unloading products from the laser, hampering business growth. Modular robotics allow staff to focus on more innovative projects by handling these tasks, thus freeing staff for more productive working.

In this webinar, the two companies will discuss and demonstrate how robots can assist small businesses with manual tasks, providing practical examples of how these easy-to-use robots can assist with loading and unloading Trotec laser machines for increased production efficiency.

The plug-and-play robotic arms are easy to programme without any experience of robotics with many accessories being available 'off the shelf', making it an accessible and cost-effective solution for small and large businesses alike.

Registration for the next ‘Hot Topics’ webinar is free of charge on 24 June at 14:30 BST. For more information visit the website (www.troteclaser.com/en-gb).
