AMB show to take place in Stuttgart in September 2022After the suspension of last year’s event due to the Covid-19 pandemic, AMB — the international exhibition for metalworking — will return to its regular slot at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre from 13 to 17 September 2022. All the major industry players from the metalworking and processing industry will once again present their innovations and latest technologies to the many visitors forecast to attend over the five days.

Gunnar Mey, department director for industry at Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, said: “We are really excited to finally be able to stage trade fairs again. The trade fair advisory board supports the project team in their endeavour; at the first meeting on 8 June, all companies present pledged their support including DMG Mori, INDEX-Werke, HAHN+KOLB, EMCO, GF Machining Solutions, Chiron Werke, FFG Europe, Kasto GmbH, Guhring, Ceratizit, Iscar, Hartmetall-Werkzeugfabrik, Paul Horn, Mapal, Nagel Werkzeug-Maschinen, Ilg + Sulzberger and Römheld.”

Mr Mey added: “The trust placed in us from exhibitors and partners makes us extremely proud and confirms that we are now on our way to a truly great AMB 2022.”

The current market data presented by supporters of AMB including the VDMA Precision Tools Association, the VDMA Software and Digitalisation Association and the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW) backed up the plans of the Trade Fair Advisory Board and gave a positive outlook highlighting increased orders as a sign of a recovery in the industry.

AMB 2022 is now a confirmed fixture in next year’s calendar and the next important milestone for exhibitors is the start of the planning phase on 15 October 2021.
