Somerset-based Rotamec Engineering Services, a specialist in motor rewinds, pump and gearbox repairs and drive solutions has expanded its operations into the Midlands following the acquisition of Leicester-based CovElec Ltd.

The Leicester-based site will continue to offer the same level of technical expertise and engineering know-how, while expanding its services into new markets.

With almost 40 years’ experience as a motor rewind and repair specialist, CovElec has a reputation for technical expertise in the field of motor rewinds and electro-mechanical repairs.

Rotamec is a leading electromechanical service provider for rotating equipment including the repair and maintenance motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes and power transmission components. The company which now operates out of four sites in the UK, offers its customers a 24hr call-out service which includes on-site diagnostics, repair and installation services, as well as distribution partnerships with many leading brands.
