After a wait of over two years the Polish industrial sector recently saw the return of the
ITM Industry Europe Fair in Poznań. Visitors returned in large numbers and exhibitors were not only satisfied with the amount of business secured, but also with the new in-person relationships formed.
Over 340 exhibitors from Poland and abroad supported the show, which co-located with
Modernlog Trade Fair of Logistics, Transport and Storage, 3D SOLUTIONS − 3D Printing and Scanning Fair, Subcontracting Industrial Cooperation Fair and
FOCAST Foundry Forum. The event lasted from 31 August to 3 September. This year, for the first time, companies were able to exhibit traditionally from a stand or via an online meeting platform which was available for the first time.
Barbara Kamińska, coordinator of the online meeting platform, said: “The platform was used by over a 1,000 people who actively participated in on-line meetings and conferences. This shows the potential of this solution.”
Held for the first time was a pioneering project of Grupa MTP at ITM Industry Europe — the two-day
Industry Next Congress — where technological innovations were highlighted. Speakers included representatives from Microsoft Polska, ABB, Fanuc Polska, Siemens, Northvolt Poland and Polpharma.
The event was attended by Olga Ewa Semeniuk, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology, Government Plenipotentiary for Small and Medium Enterprises, and Tadeusz Kościński, Minister of Finance, Funds and Regional Policy.
The next edition of ITM Industry Europe will take place from 31 May to 3 June 2022.
