BCN3D, a 3-D printing solutions manufacturer, has expanded its presence in North America with the opening of a new logistics centre in New Jersey, the first of its kind for the company outside of Spain. Over the last four months the company has been busy acquiring AstroPrint, launching new Cloud software and unveiling its new Metal Pack at Formnext in Frankfurt, which features all the tools necessary to make affordable stainless steel 3-D printing a reality.

The new centre will enable the company to offer better local services with a faster response to the needs of its expanding customer base in North America.

The establishment of this centralised hub in New Jersey will strengthen ties with current BCN3D partners — Matterhackers, Dynamism, Shop3D, and 3D Platform — and fulfil the needs being put forward by industries including automotive, engineering and manufacturing. Channel sales manager Kevin Billett and an accompanying team will build upon relationships with North American resellers and lead to the expansion of BCN3D throughout the region.
