EUROGUSS 2022 how vacuum impregnation is critical to driving the industry forward.
Combined with the post-casting treatment and impregnation service capabilities of the Group companies Maldaner GmbH and Sterr & Eder GmbH, Quaker Houghton provides a complete, intelligent solution for die casting from start to finish. Visitors to Quaker Houghton’s stand (Hall 7, Booth 628) will have access to Ultraseal’s engineers who will be on hand to discuss customised solutions to casting impregnation and post-casting treatment challenges.
Ultraseal will also have on stand an Augmented Reality (AR) model of a front-load impregnation machine. Visitors will be able to see how Ultraseal uses this, and similar technology, to support customers for a variety of purposes. Purposes that have been hugely beneficial during the recent Covid-19 pandemic for example remote acceptance testing, maintenance, service and repair using Microsoft’s HoloLens 2.

In addition to a market-leading range of conventional impregnation sealants, Ultraseal offers the option of high-performance recycling sealants and recycling systems (which can be supplied with new impregnation systems or retro-fitted to existing vacuum impregnation equipment) which minimise environmental impact while also reducing sealant usage by up to 95%. The company’s pioneering closed loop sealant recycling system drives efficiencies and virtually eliminates wastewater from the impregnation process – a vital consideration for manufacturers today.
