Two new machine launches at ‘The One Show’

Two new machine launches at ‘The One Show’Mills CNC Ltd, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions’ and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has announced that it will be hosting a two-day advanced technology event at its Campus facility in Leamington Spa, 15-16 October 2025. Called The One Show, this best-practice event aims to provide UK and Irish component manufacturers with an opportunity to find out more about the productivity and process efficiency gains that can be achieved by embracing ‘one-hit’ machining. The event will also see the machine tool supplier launch two new DN Solutions’ Fanuc-controlled multi-axis multi-tasking machine tools into the UK and Irish markets.

The new machines — the DVF 5000 (Second-Generation) simultaneous five-axis machining centre, and the DNX 2100SB entry-level multi-tasking mill-turn machine — are both equipped with the CUFOS (customised user-friendly flexible operating system) CNC interface. Both machines will be presented via a series of machine-specific presentations and carefully prepared machining demonstrations.

In addition to two new machine tool launches, The One Show will allow visitors to assess other, more well-known and well-established, multi-tasking one-hit machine tool models from DN Solutions. These will include an SMX 2100SB (mill-turn machine), a DVF 4000 (compact simultaneous five-axis machining centre), and a TT 1300SYY (a twin-turret twin-spindle turning centre with dual Y-axis capabilities).

Digital twin technology

This event will also see Mills CNC’s Training Academy ‘out in force’ promoting its latest digital twin technology (via a DVF 4000 five-axis machining centre with the latest Siemens Sinumerik One CNC system), and its range of Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain operator and programmer training courses, as well as CAD-CAM training courses.

Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s Group CEO, said: “In the past, we have hosted a number of successful Open House events at our facility, but because we wanted to simultaneously introduce two new DN Solutions’ multi-tasking machine tools into the UK and Irish markets, we decided to combine a traditional Open House with a Technology Show that incorporated two machine tool product launches.

“With the global and domestic economic environments and supply chains proving to be more challenging and unpredictable than ever, it’s important that UK and Irish component manufacturers do everything they can to improve their competitiveness. Investing in multi-axis and multi-tasking machine tools, and embracing one-hit machining processes, can obviously help and, we believe that events like our The One Show could well motivate some manufacturers to ‘grasp the nettle’.”
