Semco relaunches with new machines and website

Semco Machine Tools, a historic British company, started life in 1938 in Connaught Buildings in Millbrook Road. First set up as and engineering company repairing and rebuilding machinery, it was soon supporting the Second World War effort and was involved in work associated with the production of the Super Marine Spitfire. Such was the company’s success it soon began to manufacture and sell new machines to a wider audience.

Taken over by Ajax Machine Tools in 2005, the brand has recently been relaunched in Lymington with a new website and a new range of machines, including CNC and manual mils and lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders, pedestal and radial drills, and vertical and horizontal borers.

All the machines available maintain the old Semco ethos of ‘affordable reliable quality machines’ and they are fully supported by the Ajax service network.
