Rotherham-based
Premier Technical Ltd (Prem-tech), a manufacturer and supplier of wear-resistant products, has been acquired by
Welding Alloys Group, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of welding consumables and equipment.
Welding Alloys Group says this acquisition marks a significant milestone in its growth strategy, expanding its footprint in the UK market and enhancing its product portfolio with Prem-tech’s specialised wear-resistant solutions, particularly in the field of continuous-casting roll repairs.
“This deal brings together two complementary businesses, creating a stronger and more diverse offering for customers. The acquisition is expected to provide significant, long-term synergies and benefits for both companies.
