Atlas Composite Technologies selects Derby for expansion

Ilkeston-based Atlas Composite Technologies, a manufacturer of composites components, has chosen Derby as the home for its growth plans. The company will be taking up occupation of a modern industrial unit following a deal brokered by Salloway Property Consultants.

The new building, which comprises 30,000ft² of workshop and office space, is located in a high-profile location on Millennium Way, Pride Park.

Hugo Beresford, the surveyor at Salloway who was responsible for the deal, said: “I am delighted to have been able to put this deal together; it secures new premises for a successful and growing manufacturing company which enables it to fulfil various exciting new contracts.”

Atlas Composite Technologies manufactures complex composite components for industry sectors such as aerospace engineering, motorsport, defence, satellite communications and R&D.
