West Yorkshire-based
F&S Tube Manipulation Ltd, a tube manipulation company, recently invested in a CNC ring rolling machine at its factory in Halifax, supplied by Coventry-based
AMOB UK.
Maxine Mettrik, F&S Tube accounts and office manager, said: “The new AMOB machine has a much wider potential of parts it can produce compared to the machine it replaces. The previous machine was also unreliable, and would often break down so we began looking for a suitable replacement and discovered AMOB UK.”
The new high-tech machine is an MAH-40/3 CNC ring roller with HMI touchscreen, high-capacity storage programme, and is capable of working in both manual and automatic modes. With this new bender, F&S Tube is able to greatly increase its fabrication capabilities by produce more accurate batches at higher speed. Futhermore it produces less scrap and cuts material costs significantly.
F&S has been providing tube-bending services since 2002. From its initial start in Brighouse, concentrating initially on providing gas inlet pipes for gas fire manufacturers, the business has expanded into all areas which require bespoke tube manipulated products. For over 20 years it has provided high-quality tube-forming services not only within the UK, but also throughout the world, offering customers a complete tube-bending solution.
