ADI Group has opened a new facility adjacent to its Birmingham headquarters, one that allows the firm’s Automation division to ‘double its manufacturing capacity and meet an increase in demand for the company’s services, following a variety of new clients coming onboard’. As a UL-certified (Underwriters Laboratories) control-panel-manufacturing facility, the new building will enable the division to build UL-certified control panels and enhance its product offering.
Kevin Parson, ADI Automation’s managing director, said: “We are thrilled to be able to boost our manufacturing capacity to such a considerable extent. Our UL certification will allow our company to reach new heights within our business growth plan, and to deliver even more exceptional solutions for our clients.”
The new facility, which houses around 30 people, will also serve as a training facility for both staff training and external training, offering resources to help its clients to ‘better understand the systems ADI Automation uses and the services the rest of the Group provides’.
Mr Parson added: “Our new facility has been designed for the training and upskilling of all ADI, from apprentices, to engineers, to managers and directors. Upskilling our employees and providing them with first-class opportunities for growth and development is a vital part of our business model. We aim to supply a range of opportunities for technical and professional development training across different areas of the industry.
