Ward Hi-Tech ends 2023 on a high

Sheffield-based Ward Hi-Tech Limited, one of the UK’s leading machine tool dealers, reported a bumper close to 2023 with the conclusion of several significant projects. Orders were taken for a number of large frame machine tools from overseas principals Hwacheon and Dah Lih.

Two Hwacheon Hi-Tech 850LYMC heavy duty turning centres with 3.5m between centres as well as 32in chucks with Y-axis, were sold to a large sub-contract company in the North of England, while a Midlands-based manufacturer placed an order for a 5m between centres x 1,800mm swing CNC lathe from S.F.M.

The year was rounded off with two double column Dah Lih machining centres with 4m X-axis being sold in the North West and a Kiheung U1200N CNC universal bedmill with 3m X-axis travel snapped up by a local manufacturer.

With several large projects now taking shape, Ward Hi-Tech is looking forward to a strong start to 2024.
