Magnomatics, an internationally renowned innovator of magnetic transmissions and ultra-compact motors, has announced the appointment of Joe Kitchen as its new operations director. Mr Kitchen, who has a Masters in business administration and a first-class Bsc in engineering management, joins with more than 15 years’ experience working in the manufacturing and operations management fields.
Having held senior positions across a number of industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace and energy generation, Mr Kitchen has also worked at an international level as a senior management consultant and head of operational excellence at Siemens Gamesa.
His experience in leadership and operational accountability — alongside his understanding of leading large teams, delivering change projects, as well as coaching and upskilling workforces — will help to drive innovation and development across the entire Magnomatics business.
