Apex Auctions says the highlight of this sale is a meticulously maintained power generation plant which was originally commissioned in 2015. The centrepiece is a WEG 2625Kva 11,000-volt synchronous continuous duty alternator and a Triveni 20MW steam bleed condensing turbine with gearbox (both built in 2012). The steam turbine has an impressive 20,000kW power rating, with an inlet steam pressure of 40 bar, a steam temperature of 400°C, and a turbine speed of 6,150rev/min. Accompanying this is a 21,800kW powered gearbox featuring an input speed of 6,150rev/min and an output speed of 1,500rev/min.
In addition to these major components, the plant includes essential ancillaries such as ACC vacuum condensing equipment, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water plant with a capacity of 5,000 litres per hour, as well as a condensate polishing plant. This unit has seen minimal use since its commissioning and is offered for sale in good condition with the turbine having been regularly turned.
Furthermore, available for separate purchase or as part of the complete package is an unused Triveni 20MW steam bleed condensing turbine with gearbox. This includes similar ancillaries as the main unit, offering a valuable addition, or alternative for potential buyers.
