Brighton-based C Dugard Ltd has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new area sales managers. Liam Scaramuzza has been recruited to enhance Dugard’s sales activities in the North of England and Renny Thomas has joined the company to target sales in the South East.

The South Coast company has enjoyed unprecedented growth with its extensive portfolio and the new appointments will enable Dugard to bolster its customer sales, service and support in these two key regions. Liam joined Dugard in March as an area sales manager for the North and his previous experience will serve him well in underpinning the growth of the brand in the area.

Apprenticeship served, Mr Scaramuzza vastly expanded his experience with 11 years of machine-shop experience on both manual and CNC machines. Following this, he moved into technical sales with a leading cutting tool distributor and over the next eight years his enthusiasm and desire to succeed brought numerous promotions. From 2016 to 2024, Mr Scaramuzza progressed from technical sales engineer to product training manager, technical sales manager and finally business development manager. It is this desire, passion and track record in driving business results that will further enhance Dugard’s presence and customer service in the North.

Meanwhile, Renny Thomas will target growth opportunities in the South East and Anglia. He has 26 years of machine-shop experience before moving into CAD/CAM training and technical support. From there, he spent the last 12 years as an area sales manager with a manufacturer of CNC turning centres. Looking to move to a business with a more diverse and expansive portfolio and a larger sales area were two of the key reasons that Mr Thomas joined the growing Dugard family.
