Ermaksan laser cutter wins design awardErmaksan, a global technology company that is based in Turkey, has announced that its Fibermak Momentum Gen-5 fibre laser cutting machine won an award at the IF Design Award 2024, which is globally recognised as ‘one of the most prestigious design organisations’.

This machine is a CNC 2-D fibre laser machine designed for the precision and high-speed processing of various types of sheet metals. Ermaksan says this fifth generation Fibermak features “a striking appearance with a unique stance, cambered structured body, and meticulously embedded design details, all complemented by a distinctive colour scheme. The inclusion of smooth transitions of the orange reflective lights on the oblique grey aluminum extrusion panel adds a compelling and strong design element to the overall aesthetic”.

Mrs Ozkayan, Ermaksan’s vice general manager, added: “We are incredibly proud to receive the IF Design Award for our Fibermak Momentum Gen-5. This recognition underscores our dedication to providing innovative and effective solutions to our customers and reaffirms our commitment to excellence in design and engineering.

“Designed with operators in mind, this machine incorporates a wide range of features aimed at minimising installation efforts, improving serviceability, and creating a more productive work environment for users; and to meet various needs, the Fibermak Momentum Gen-5 offers a range of formats and capacities, providing optional large-scale flexible fibre laser cutting machines for flat sheet and tube cutting. The table sizes range from 3 x 1.5m to 18.3 x 2.5m.

Furthermore, Ermaksan’s Fibermak Momentum Gen-5 laser cutting machine and EVO III hybrid press brake were honoured at the German Design Awards 2024.”
