Manufacturer secures HSBC UK funding for new machineEast Lancashire-based ROSS Pneumatrol, a provider of electro-pneumatic solutions, has secured a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK to purchase a new compact Brother F600 CNC machining centre. The new machine will enable the company to increase production of explosion-proof certified valves, solenoids, and wider products for international rail and industrial markets. Increased productivity and exports to European and Chinese markets is expected to support ROSS Pneumatrol in achieving a forecasted £3 million increase in turnover over the next three years.

ROSS Pneumatrol’s managing director Jamie Dummer said: “Our investment in the advanced Brother F600 machine reflects our unwavering commitment to international market expansion. This cutting-edge technology enhances our export capabilities and elevates productivity across the business, positioning us well for continued success in the years to come.”

ROSS Pneumatrol is an ISO 9001 certified company which was established in 2013 following ROSS Controls’ acquisition of Pneumatrol. ROSS Control was established in the USA in 1921 and continues to be an industry leader in pneumatic valve technology.

Following the acquisition of Pneumatrol, the ROSS UK office relocated to its current 24,000ft2 site in Oswaldtwistle. ROSS Pneumatrol currently employs 76 people at the facility.
