B&B Attachments (B&B) has invested in a new Yamazaki Mazak Quick Turn 250MSY CNC turning centre with multi-tasking capabilities, supplied by
Yamazak Mazak Ltd in Worcester.
Founded in 1980, B&B Attachments is now one of the UK’s largest suppliers and manufacturers of forklift truck attachments at its factory in Cramlington. The company specialises in bespoke forklift truck attachment solutions, creating products for customers with specific material handling requirements.
John Lamberth, operations director at B&B Attachments, said: “This new Mazak machine represents a significant investment for B&B and a fantastic addition to our manufacturing technology. The CNC turning centre is ideally suited for the manufacture of complex components. It is designed to meet production requirements from small-batch to high-volume applications. The Quick Turn 250MSY is an impressive addition to our range of Mazak machines already commissioned here at our Cramlington facility, which includes a VTC-800/30SR, and two Quick Turn Nexus lathes.”
The Quick Turn 250MSY CNC turning centre brings together advanced technology, productivity and value to deliver exceptional performance. It provides improved quality and reduced lead times and is equipped with the SmoothG CNC system for easy operation and programming. Thanks to its design, vibration is minimised during high-speed operation to ensure exceptional surface finishes to B&B products.
