Glasgow-based
TUAL Technology Ltd, a leading developer of electric commercial-vehicle charging solutions, has launched its ‘PowerBank Pro-Charging’ system for electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs). The company said that as the global push towards electrifying transportation intensifies, the eHGV sector remains critically underserved.
“The lack of public megawatt (MW) charging infrastructure is a major hurdle, leaving fleet operators and logistics companies grappling with the limitations of present charging solutions — namely charging at base, which significantly limits the range of use-cases for 16 to 44 tonne vehicles. We are addressing this gap with our 120kWhr and 180kWhr swappable PowerBank solutions, which will maximise vehicle uptime while ensuring route flexibility and extending an eHGV’s stem millage by up to 120 miles, depending on application.”
