Grob announces dates for 2025 in-house exhibitionGrob metal printing

Grob’s in-house exhibition will take place in 2025 from 1 to 4 April, and the company will be inviting visitors to experience the latest technologies and innovations in mechanical engineering under the slogan ‘Welcoming the World to Bavaria’. The event in Mindelheim brings together international trade visitors, technology enthusiasts and partners and offers a multi-faceted platform for attendees to immerse themselves in the world of mechanical engineering.

The event will take place in an exhibition area of over 6,000m2 where new exhibits and proven technologies will be highlighted and will include universal machine tools, automation, machining technology, additive manufacturing (AM) and much more. The exhibition will also feature a mix of technology premieres, exhibits and factory tours. A special highlight will be the G550 five-axis universal machining centre in combination with the new-generation PSS-R900 rotary pallet storage system, which will be making its debut.

In addition, visitors will be able to see the new Vario rotary table on a G550 machining centre and the new clamping hydraulics featured on a five-axis G550T milling/turning machining centre. These innovations once again demonstrate the precision and efficiency of Grob technology and will underline the continuous further development of the Bavarian machine manufacturer’s product range.

A comprehensive overview

Visitors to the in-house exhibition can also look forward to six specialist areas covering a range of industrial sectors — from e-mobility and digitalisation to machining technology, AM and Grob service. Grob-Werke thus offers a comprehensive overview of modern manufacturing technologies and their possible applications in a wide range of industries. Among other things, almost the entire range of universal machining centres, including the associated automation, will be on display.

In the field of machining technology, trade visitors can look forward to seeing first-hand the Grob G920F5 and the Grob G720F, which have been specially developed for the task of mega and giga castings and frame structure parts and will be seen working live. The in-house exhibition will also be of interest to visitors looking for machine solutions at short notice, as both new and used machines will also be presented and offered for sale at the event.

GrobA visual highlight of the exhibition will be a new ‘workpiece wall’, where typical parts from different countries will be on display, including the Eiffel Tower and other iconic buildings. This unique presentation is designed to underlines Grob’s international presence and shows the company's precision work in a completely new way.

In keeping with its theme ‘Welcoming the World to Bavaria’, the in-house exhibition will be accompanied by culinary delights from all over the world, offering visitors an insight into the culinary diversity of Grob locations worldwide. In addition, 12 themed plant tours are on the programme each day, providing exciting insights behind the scenes and into Grob’s production processes.

Over 60 partner companies will also be taking part in the in-house exhibition showcasing their latest products and solutions. The exhibitor area thus offers the unique opportunity to experience comprehensive industry solutions from a single source.

The event also places a strong focus on industry-specific applications, such as aerospace, die and mold industries, mechanical engineering, energy technology, automation and automotive. Trade visitors can look forward to practice-oriented presentations and demonstrations that illustrate the wide range of possible applications for Grob technologies in these areas.

The Grob Open House will offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the latest developments and pioneering technologies available on the amarket, as well as providing networking opportunities in a modern, international trade fair environment.
