RK International Machine Tools Ltd and
Colchester Machine Tool Solutions will be putting the spotlight on a pair of CNC machines at
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025, a Lightning laser marker, and a range of Pratt Burnerd International chucking solutions (Stand J210).
At the show, which takes place from 4-6 February in Farnborough, Colchester Machine Tool Solutions — which has been manufacturing machine tools for over 130 years — will be demonstrating, a Storm VL-550 vertical machining centre (VMC). The most compact model available in this machine range, it features linear guideway technology and can undertake ‘the most demanding tasks necessitating heavy-duty and precise machining’.
Alongside the Storm VL-550 VMC, will be a Tornado SL25 MSY sub-spindle CNC turning centre which will be ‘put through its paces’ on the stand. This machine features an integrated sub-spindle and Y-axis capabilities and has been designed to combine productivity and versatility.
Also on show will be a Lightning Class 1 permanent laser marking system which not only offers a range of features and can undertake a wide variety of applications but is backed up by Colchester’s extensive UK-based support.
Meanwhile, examples of high-precision high-quality manual and power chucking solutions from Pratt Burnerd International Workholding — as used by industrial sub-contractors and OEMs worldwide — will be highlighted. The company boasts 100 years of design and manufacturing experience.
