The
Victor brand, available in the UK from Oldham-based sole agent
GM CNC Ltd, is renowned for its reputation for reliable, robust, rigid and high-performance machine tools that are built to last. The latest addition to its line-up is the NP26 horizontal turning lathe which combines a compact footprint with increased power and precision. The NP26 ‘delivers big performance without taking up valuable shopfloor space’.
With a 740mm swing over bed, 640mm distance between centres, and an increased bar capacity of 75mm (optional upgrade to 77mm), the NP26 is the perfect step up to the established NP16 and NP20 horizontal turning lathes. An 87mm spindle bore enhances its capability for larger components, while the programmable tailstock — exclusive to the NP26 - adds simplicity when undertaking complex turning tasks.
The NP26 comes as standard with a Fanuc 0i-TF Plus control system (10.4in), hydraulic chuck with soft jaws, rear-disposal chip conveyor, coolant flush, and fully enclosed splash guarding. For those looking to enhance productivity further, optional extras include an automatic tool presetter, Kitagawa power chuck, high-pressure coolant system, and robot system.
