Sew-Eurodrive UK, has appointed a new operations director as it continues to expand its team following recent growth. Andy Turner has been promoted into the role after 17 years with the company in various sales and operations roles.
Mr Turner joined the company in 2008 as an external area sales manager before becoming internal sales and marketing manager in 2021, before quickly progressed to sales and operations manager the following year. Having started in the industry as an apprentice, he has extensive knowledge and experience of the drives and control process and supply chain.
Mr Turner will now oversee the sales and production teams at the company’s Normanton headquarters, working closely with managing director John Pickup to drive the company forward. Sew-Eurodrive UK is the world-leading specialist in drive technology, with an integrated range of products, software and customer support, delivering seamless solutions for a wide range of industries, from logistics, to manufacturing, to airport handling.

2 Normanton production site holds stock with a value of over £5.3 million, ready for assembly 24/7, 365 days per year. The UK division of Sew-Eurodrive has around 160 employees, and a turnover of £65 million, and supports major players including Amazon, Coco-Cola and the Manchester Airport Group.
