Gerry Jones retires after more than 30 years at Trumpf

Luton-based Trumpf Ltd recently announced the retirement of sales director Gerry Jones, which was effective from 17 July 2025.

Lee Moakes, managing director of Trumpf Ltd, said: “After more than 30 years of dedicated service, Gerry is leaving behind a legacy of lasting contributions to the success of our UK customers. We extend our heartfelt thanks and wish him all the very best for a long and happy retirement.”

Following Gerry’s retirement John Roche has been appointed as head of sales MT and Tom Chaffer as head of sales LT, both reporting directly to Mr Moakes. This new structure will enusure continuity for Trumpf’s customers and supports the company´s ongoing commitment to the UK market.
