New Clarion LEVs — a breath of fresh airClarion LEV fitted to a Haas VF3 CNC Vertical Mill

Six months on from launching its range of Clarion Ventilation System LEVs (local exhaust ventilation), Leicester Precision Components (LPC) is seeing strong demand and receiving excellent feedback from customers that have installed them.

Margaret, LPC’s sales executive, said: “It has been a busy and exciting time. We have moved from introducing the Clarion LEVs to the UK market to making them a cost-effective ‘must have’ solution for our customers to protect their staff and comply with new health and safety regulations that are in force. We have alreadly specified, installed and certified Clarion systems for a wide variety of CNC machine types.”

LEVs have been fitted to CNC machines from Haas, XYZ, Biglia, Brother and TRYAX. Customers have highlighted LPC’s professional approach and reliable service, with several returning to place second and third orders for more LEVs for their workshop machines.

ClarionA recent testimonial from one of LPC’s customers said: “The Clarion LEV system offered a unique solution, ordering was simple, Margaret managed the process end-to-end, and the engineers were fully briefed before arriving on-site. Once installed, the system was tested and certified, and the H&S body closed out the non-conformance as satisfactorily resolved.”

The success of the Clarion range has resulted in a healthy order book, leading LPC to recruit an additional P601-trained engineer to support specification, installation and certification work. Furthermore, the Clarion systems can be supplied with airflow sensors that use a straightforward LED indicator to show when filters are becoming less effective and need replacing. LPC engineers can then be called upon to change and safely dispose of filters, ensuring that systems continue to operate at their best.

Integration with CNC controls

Customer feedback has also driven further developments. Many users are now requesting that LEVs be integrated with their CNC controls, either through M codes or linked directly to the coolant pump. LPC’s P601-trained engineers have the expertise to deliver this integration, which not only improves convenience but can also help to reduce energy consumption - a key consideration given rising energy costs.

ClarionThis year LPC exhibited at Southern Manufacturing and Subcon, both of which proved highly successful in raising awareness of the Clarion LEV range. Building on this momentum, the company has now confirmed its presence at MACH 2026, where it will welcome visitors to Stand 20-10.

Margaret concluded: “We look forward to helping more manufacturers improve their workshops and meet health and safety regulations with our range of cost-efective Clarion LEV solutions. Whether you need a competitive quotation or would like an engineer to carry out a site assessment, we are here to help.”
