Made in Britain CEO John Pearce speaks at the 2024 Impact AwardsA record-breaking 157 submissions have been received for the
2025 Made in Britain Impact Awards, marking a 38% increase on last year’s 114 entries. The organisers say the surge in participation reflects the growing energy, innovation and pride driving UK manufacturing forward. In several categories, the rise is even more dramatic — entries for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ have soared by 160% compared to 2024, while ‘Heroes of British Export’ is up nearly 120%, and ‘Social Impact’ has seen a 70% increase.
Simon Boyd, executive director of Made in Britain, said: “This record-breaking year for the
Impact Awards proves just how much momentum is building in British manufacturing. Our members are pushing boundaries, tackling mounting export challenges with creativity, and showing the world what it means to be Made in Britain. We could not be prouder to celebrate their success and share their stories at this year’s ceremony, and I would like to thank each and every manufacturer for taking the time out of their busy workloads to apply.”
Now in its 12th year, the awards ceremony will take place on 5 November at the Bank House Hotel in Bransford, Worcester. Organised and hosted by the not-for-profit trade body
Made in Britain, the awards are open exclusively to its 2,200 members — manufacturers who use the official Made in Britain trademark to promote their goods.
Award categories for 2025 include Sustainability Initiative of the Year, Social Impact, Innovation of the Year, Heritage Manufacturer, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Excellence in Procurement, Heroes of British Export, and Inspiring Leader of the Year.
John Pearce, Made in Britain’s CEO, said: “The
Made in Britain Impact Awards are an opportunity for us all to reflect on what has been another fantastic year for British manufacturing. With manufacturing having been confirmed as ‘the UK’s leading export engine’, now is the time to honour the workforces that ideate, innovate and drive progress on a global scale.
“Despite challenges across the sector, our 2,200 members have risen to the challenge and flown the Great British flag via our trademark with immense pride. Their accomplishments have been far-reaching and proven that manufacturing does not just connect components, it connects us all.”
Previous winners from the
2024 Impact Awards include Royal Oak Health (Heroes of British Export), The Somerset Grill Company (Marketing Campaign of the Year) and Byworth Boilers (Social Impact). With the 2025 awards fast approaching, the spotlight is once again on the best of British manufacturing.
