Following the closure of Beko’s long-standing manufacturing facility in Łódź, Poland, a significant volume of high-specification production technology is now entering the secondary market at highly attractive prices.
Maynards Europe, in collaboration with
AllSurplus, is managing the international sale of modern sheet-metal forming and surface-coating equipment. Alongside an active Private Treaty Sale, an Online Auction is scheduled for 23 October 2025.
Until recently, Beko – a leading Turkish manufacturer of home appliances – operated two major production sites in Poland, including the Łódź plant where ovens and tumble dryers were manufactured. The closure of both facilities has released a wide range of industrial assets, including complete production lines and auxiliary machinery, now available to global buyers. The sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire proven, well-maintained equipment from a high-volume appliance production environment. Key assets include stamping press lines with capacities up to 3,000kN, a Trumpf automated laser-cutting system, full enamelling lines, and advanced coating systems.
High-quality machineryThe decision to exit the Polish manufacturing base reflects broader industry trends. Rising energy and labour costs have significantly impacted operational viability, prompting Beko to consolidate its production footprint. The Łódź and Wrocław closures mark a strategic shift in response to escalating overheads. For buyers seeking to expand capacity or modernise existing operations, this sale presents a timely opportunity. The equipment on offer has been maintained to a high technical standard and remains in excellent condition. Demand for efficient, industry-specific machinery continues to grow across international markets.
Maynards Europe said: “By combining a Private Treaty Sale with an Online Auction, we can offer flexibility to a wide range of buyers – from strategic investors to companies looking for individual machines or ancillary equipment. Through the sale we prevent valuable production assets from sitting idle for too long. It is in everyone’s interest to return these machines to productive use as quickly as possible.”
The Private Treaty Sale has been active since late August, enabling direct acquisition of complete production lines, plant equipment, and workshop inventory. Machinery originates from the manufacture of electric and gas cookers, as well as combination units.
