Carfulan to debut OGP UK’s M7 at Southern ManufacturingThe Carfulan Group, one of the UK’s leading advanced manufacturing specialists, which achieved a record £22.3 million year in 2025, will showcase its five specialist technologies at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026, taking place from 3–5 February at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre (Stand E230).

Taking centre stage will be OGP UK’s SmartScope M7, a high-precision, multi-sensor dimensional metrology system with advanced optics and intellicentric virtual zoom technology. It will be the first of seven major exhibitions the Derbyshire-based business will attend between now and the end of June, as it looks to raise awareness of the latest 3D Stratasys printing solutions (SYS Systems), turned part measurement (VICIVISION UK), optical measurement (Metrios UK), tool presetting (ZOLLER UK) and data collection software (Prolink). This includes appearances at Seco’s Inspiration Through Innovation event, the Dental Technology Showcase, the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference, and MACH 2026, the UK’s largest biennial industrial show.

Lewis Hearne, marketing manager at the Carfulan Group, said: “There is a huge appetite from industry to gain greater quality control and increased productivity, and our technologies can help businesses achieve these aspirations. 2025 saw us grow across all our solutions and 17% as a group, which is a fantastic performance., and this is just the start. We now want to amplify our message and that is why we have committed to our largest event schedule ever, beginning with Southern Manufacturing & Electronics in February.”

Multiple solutions and technologies

He continued: “Often visitors to events don’t understand that we offer multiple solutions and technologies from across our group and we are trying to change that. This more proactive approach puts us face-to-face with the people we want to be talking to; manufacturers, engineers and decision-makers, and gives us the chance to have important, practical conversations about what they are working on and where we can offer support to help them measure parts more accurately, design more freely and manufacture more efficiently.”

Run by brothers Chris and Matt Fulton, the Carfulan Group will its bring technology and technical experts from OGP UK, SYS Systems, ZOLLER UK, VICIVISION UK and Metrios UK together in one place at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics. Live demonstrations will be taking place throughout the three days and visitors will be able to get their hands on a selection of components that have been produced using the new Stratasys P3 Silicone 25a material.

Other highlights include access to VICIVISION’s M306 2-D digital optical measuring machine for turned or cylindrical parts, high speed optical metrology from the Metrios Cross and the ZOLLER Smile range for professional presetting and measurement of tools.

Mr Hearne concluded: “From advanced metrology and tool management to automated inspection and smart manufacturing systems, our stand is the place to see proven technologies shaping the future of precision manufacturing. We want visitors to drop by, see what is new at Carfulan this year, and have an open conversation about their manufacturing challenges. Whether it is ideas, problems, or plans for 2026, we are here to help get things moving and provide a solution tailored to their business.”
