Registration for CWIEME Berlin 2026 now openVisitor registration is now open for CWIEME Berlin 2026, the world’s leading event for coil winding, transformer, electric motor, generator and e‑mobility technologies. The exhibition, which takes place at Messe Berlin from 19 to 21 May, marks the 30th anniversary of the show and will bring together the full spectrum of innovation across the global electrical engineering supply chain.

Under the theme Where Power Meets Progress, the 2026 edition aims to reflect the rapid development taking place across the electrical manufacturing sector, providing a platform for the ideas, technologies and collaboration driving efficiency, resilience and sustainability. More than 12,000 visitors and almost 500 exhibitors from over 57 countries are expected to attend, giving engineers, manufacturers and procurement teams an opportunity to explore new technologies, meet suppliers and assess the direction of the wider industry.

A significant addition for 2026 is CWIEME Berlin’s partnership with the EEMODS 2026 conference, one of the foremost international forums focused on energy efficiency in motor‑driven systems. EEMODS 2026 will run alongside the exhibition, featuring three parallel technical streams and a dedicated plenary session on the Electric Motor Stage. Senior policymakers from the European Commission and experts in motors, pumps and compressors will contribute to the programme, reinforcing the event’s status as a global centre for policy dialogue, technical exchange and industrial innovation.

The debut of the Electric Motor Forum will further expand the show’s reach across the European motor industry. Covering automotive, industrial, HVAC, robotics and consumer applications, the new area will incorporate exhibition space, technical sessions, panel discussions, roundtables and networking opportunities. Topics will include supply chain resilience, automation, sourcing strategies, new materials and sustainable manufacturing approaches for motor production.

Key meeting point

Furthermore, a new Power Hub alongside the Electric Motor Stage will enhance the technical content available, while the Innovation Zone will showcase next‑generation technologies from both established and emerging suppliers. Alongside the increased focus on electric motor technologies, CWIEME Berlin will continue to champion transformers and the broader transmission and distribution sector, reflecting the foundations on which the event was built. Exhibitors will present the latest transformer materials, components and manufacturing technologies, ensuring the show remains a key meeting point for professionals involved in grid infrastructure, power generation and energy distribution.

Meanwhile, the T&D Club returns with expanded delegation hosting, technical roundtables and structured networking designed to connect stakeholders across the entire electrical engineering value chain. A new T&D content stream on the Central Stage will examine advances shaping more intelligent, efficient and resilient power networks. Senior executives will also have access to a dedicated C‑Suite Club, an invitation‑only space for strategic discussions and high‑level networking intended to support long‑term decision‑making within the sector.

CWIEME Berlin 2026 will retain its established programme of workshops, international pavilions and technical content, providing opportunities for specialists across procurement, R&D, design, manufacturing and leadership roles to meet and exchange expertise.

Melissa Magestro, portfolio director at CWIEME, concluded: “CWIEME Berlin has always been about bringing the industry together, and our 30th anniversary will be a true celebration of that spirit. We are not just marking a milestone. We are connecting the community that will shape the future of the electrical engineering industry.”
