Chell Instruments wins 'Excellence in Manufacturing’ award

North Walsham-based Chell Instruments, has been awarded an ‘Excellence in Manufacturing’ award for its innovations in producing gas measurement and control solutions. Held at Jarrolds Letheringsett on 10 February, an Inspiring North Norfolk event brought business leaders together to recognise their achievements and contributions to the local area. Hosted by Invest North Norfolk, a North Norfolk District Council-run organisation, the event celebrated entrepreneurs, rising talent and manufacturers.

Jamie Shanahan, a director at Chell Instruments, said: “This award doesn’t just represent the success of the technology we manufacture here in Norfolk, but to our team who consistently drive innovation in our business! Through their hard work and dedication, we ensure our scanners deliver the highest levels of measurement integrity worldwide - a true reflection of manufacturing excellence.”

Mr Shanahan continued: “Since our inception over 50 years ago, we have remained committed to our strong roots here in North Norfolk. As well as investing in local talent to build a highly skilled team of engineers, we are equally committed to supporting our community - from sponsoring a local youth football team to backing initiatives that strengthen the area we call home.”
