Posted on 02 May 2026. Edited by: Jackie Seddon.
Leadership change at Mitsubishi ElectricMitsubishi Electric Europe B.V.’s recently announced a change in its executive leadership. Mario Poltronieri assumed the position of president of the German branch on 1 April, succeeding Andreas Wagner, who simultaneously took over the leadership of Mitsubishi Electric’s Italian Branch.

Mr Poltronieri previously served as president of the Italian Branch and brings extensive international management experience within the Mitsubishi Electric Group. Under his leadership, the Italian Branch has successfully advanced its strategic development and strengthened its position in key future-oriented markets. With his move to Germany, Mitsubishi Electric continues its focus on continuity and international integration within the European organisation.

Mr Poltronieri said: “I am very much looking forward to my new role in Germany – one of the most important markets for Mitsubishi Electric in Europe. Together with our team, I aim to continue our growth trajectory, further expand our role as a technological pioneer, and provide our customers with innovative solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.”

Mitsubishi Electric Germany is a key pillar of the European organisation – with a focus on heating, cooling and air conditioning technology, automation, energy solutions, as well as semiconductor, mobility and building technologies.
