Igus to showcase latest innovations at Smart Manufacturing WeekIgus UK is set to present a comprehensive range of smart condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and motion plastics technologies at this year’s Smart Manufacturing Week, taking place at the NEC Birmingham.

On it stand it will highlight innovations designed to support improved machine performance and reliability across industrial environments.

Central to the display will be the latest developments in igus’ smart plastics range. These intelligent systems are engineered to minimise unplanned downtime, extend equipment service life and provide engineers with real-time visibility into machine health, supporting more informed maintenance strategies.

In addition to smart monitoring solutions, igus UK will be showcasing its additive manufacturing capabilities, including rapidly produced, wear-resistant polymer gears and bearings suitable for both prototyping and production applications. The company will also demonstrate its lubrication-free components for food and packaging sectors, developed to meet hygienic requirements while enabling continuous, high-throughput operation.

Visitors to the stand will be able to explore igus’ drylin linear motion systems, designed to deliver clean, quiet and maintenance-free performance, alongside its e-chain energy supply systems. These cable management solutions are built for durability and long service life in demanding industrial conditions.

The exhibition will also feature automation and robotics offerings, with igus presenting entry-level autonomous and scalable systems aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises introduce automation into their operations.

Throughout the event, igus specialists and engineers will be available to discuss specific applications and industry challenges. Live demonstrations and product samples will be on show, providing practical insight into how motion plastics technologies can help improve reliability, reduce costs and support sustainability objectives.

Igus will be on Stand J90 at Smart Manufacturing Week (June 3-4) at the NEC, Birmingham.
