Eqonic Group and the
Barton Knight Group has announced a strategic Collaboration Agreement that establishes a long-term framework for jointly pursuing, delivering, and scaling renewable energy and battery storage projects across the United Kingdom.
Under this agreement, the two organisations will combine their respective expertise by integrating Eqonic’s advanced battery storage technologies with Barton Knight’s specialist installation and maintenance capabilities. This partnership will enable both companies to broaden their reach, enhance the quality of their services, and accelerate the adoption of clean energy solutions across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
The collaboration is built on complementary strengths, with a structured framework in place to guide how both parties will work together. Eqonic will supply battery storage systems, inverters and associated technical support to Barton Knight through defined supply arrangements, while Barton Knight will deliver installation and ongoing maintenance services for Eqonic’s customers under dedicated service agreements. In addition, both companies will actively collaborate to identify and develop shared commercial opportunities. Each organisation will also recognise the other as a preferred supplier, strengthening their operational alignment while still retaining the flexibility to work independently where required.
This approach creates a seamless, end-to-end offering that covers everything from product supply through to installation and long-term service. As a result, both companies are well positioned to support the UK’s transition to renewable energy, helping to reduce journey times for deployment, increase system capacity and deliver more reliable, sustainable energy solutions.
The agreement is also underpinned by a shared commitment to quality, professionalism and customer value. It sets out clear ways of working to ensure both parties operate to the highest standards, including collaborative assessment of new opportunities and open, transparent communication throughout project delivery. The partnership prioritises high-quality equipment supply and installation, strict compliance with UK regulations and safety standards, and adherence to industry best practice. Strong provisions for confidentiality and data protection are also in place, alongside regular performance reviews designed to drive continuous improvement. Together, these principles ensure that customers benefit from a consistent, reliable and technically robust service experience.
Jas Kandola, CEO of Eqonic Group, said: “This collaboration strengthens Eqonic’s ability to deliver high-performance energy storage solutions at scale. Barton Knight’s installation expertise complements our technology platform perfectly, enabling us to accelerate deployment and support customers across the UK with a fully integrated offering.”
Paul Vine, director of
Barton Knight Energy, the renewables division of Barton Knight Group, added: “Eqonic’s innovative battery technologies and cutting-edge research and development align with our mission to deliver reliable, future-ready renewable energy systems. Together, we are well positioned to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions and deliver exceptional value to customers.”
The agreement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration, reflecting both organisations’ commitment to shared growth, expanding their presence in the market and continuing to meet the needs of their clients. While both companies will continue to operate independently, they will leverage this partnership to unlock new opportunities, improve operational efficiency and deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions across the UK.
