EAO Ltd, a leading provider of innovative cooling solutions, has launched its own range of cost-effective axial and centrifugal AC fans for general equipment cooling and ventilation applications.
The round Highland HIG-C Series centrifugal fans are available with 133 diameter x 80mm, 175 diameter x 65mm and 190 diameter x 67mm diameters, while the HIG-A Series axil fans are square framed and come in 80 x 25mm, 120 x 38mm, 225 x 80mm and 280 x 80mm frame sizes. The round and sidecut fan variants in the Highland range offer 172 diameter x 51mm, (172 x 51 x 55mm) and 254 x 89mm diameters.
Ruggedly constructed inside a ridged metal frame all eighty-nine fans in EAO’s extensive Highland range feature reliable AC induction motors that deliver a long, trouble-free service life even in demanding environments: The majority of fans are built with maintenance-free ball-race bearings that deliver a typical lifetime of 70,000 hours at 25°C or 45,000 hours at 40°C, but for particularly cost-critical applications the 80mm and 120mm axial fans are also available fitted with sleeve bearings that deliver a minimum lifetime of 30,000 hours at 30°C.
All cooling fans in the new Highland range are available in 115VAC and 230VAC versions, are CE safety marked and have received UL and TUV approvals.
According to Simon Kilcoyne, Highland Product Manager at EAO, the new budget-friendly Highland range of AC fans will provide reliable cooling in a wide range of industrial applications, which the company’s product specialists support with expert technical advice.
He explained: “We use Sanyo Denki’s innovative portable airflow tester system to generate the impedance curves needed to determine the optimum cooling solution for our customers’ equipment design.”
Many Highland brand fans are already in stock with EAO distributor Premier Farnell.
