Telford-based Grainger & Worrall, which specialises in machining complex prismatic parts for the automotive, commercial, aerospace and defence industries, has invested in a second twin-pallet five-axis CNC machine as part of a £1.25 million investment in equipment and infrastructure (the company has spent more than £6 million at its Telford and Bridgnorth facilities over the last two years).
Group manager Mark Davies said: “Over the past four years, we have doubled the workforce and seen a five-fold increase in turnover, thanks to our continuing commitment to developing the skills of our personnel and adopting the latest in machining technology.”
