Zwick Roell Indentec, the hardness-testing machine specialist, has opened a new 1,350m2 ‘state of the art’ manufacturing facility in Brierley Hill, with an R&D centre and a UKAS-accredited calibration laboratory.
At the official opening on 3 October, Jan Stefan Roell, CEO of the Zwick Roell Group, said: “I am delighted to have an opportunity to recognise the major step forward that has been achieved by Indentec with this move. The new facility provides scope for increasing output more than threefold and will be the centre of excellence for the Zwick Roell hardness-testing division.”
The Mayor of Dudley, Alan Finch, said: “This is a large investment in a highly successful local business. People are often surprised that our local economy hosts manufacturing firms with an excellent global reputation, but it does.”
