Chromalloy acquires The Trac Group

#engineering #ukmfg The Trac Group, which has two Midlands bases (in Wednesbury and Derby), has been acquired by US-based Chromalloy — a subsidiary of Sequa Corporation. Trac makes engine components for the aerospace industry — its customers include Rolls-Royce, Snecma, Alstom and Siemens — and it employs 400 people. Chromalloy serves engine makers and operators in the commercial aerospace, defence and energy sectors. It has operations in 17 countries, including a base in Derbyshire.
