NI firms take part in Singapore trade visit

Nine businesses from Northern Ireland took part in a two-day trade visit to Singapore last week.
The companies — from Belfast, Dungannon and Fivemiletown — were part of a 30-strong contingent from the UK and Ireland that travelled to the launch of the Singapore Airshow.
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said: “The trip was a gateway into the aerospace market there. Hopefully, our companies were able to seek out opportunities to get involved in the supply chains of other big manufacturers. In Northern Ireland, aerospace generates revenues in excess of £1 billion and employs over 8,000 highly qualified staff.”
