Large Diameter Drilling (LDD) (
www.lddrill.com), which specialises in marine, offshore and sub-sea foundation, drilling and engineering services, has moved to new £3.54 million premises on the Tolvaddon Energy Park.
The facility — near Camborne in Cornwall — was completed earlier this year, following the purchase of a four-acre development site. The European Regional Development Fund invested £1.8 million in the new building.
Jason Clark, founder and managing director of LDD, said: “Moving the business from Herniss to Tolvaddon Energy Park marks another milestone in the growth of LDD. Since we started trading in October 2007, the business has grown exponentially.
“During that period, it has diversified into specialist offshore lifting and handling. This led to the creation of a sister company, LM Handling, plus bases in Singapore and Australia.”
